Tools are objects used to create, fix, install, repair, and change things.  I like tools.  I have an attraction to tools: old ones, new ones, unique ones.  Any kind of tool store is a good hang out for me.  I like what tools can make happen.  With a tool you can get something done and when you are finished you can back away and enjoy the good feeling of personal accomplishment.  

Many years ago when my sons where just tots I started buying them tools for Christmas gifts.  At first they were thrilled with the idea and then it became expected and mundane.  Then as time went by they began to look forward to the next tool they would receive.  Now grown and on their own they enjoy working with their hands and appreciate the tools that fill their boxes and are used to care for their homes.

Here at BBN we recognize that God has put some tools into our hands to create, install, change, and repair things.  He’s given us the tool of Broadcasting.  On the radio and the internet we can reach around the world into homes, vehicles, offices, planes, retirement centers, and jails with Bible teaching and Christ-honoring music.  He’s given us the tool of Chat where we can counsel people in the truths of Scripture literally anywhere in the world there is a computer and an internet connection.  God has also placed in our hands the Bible Institute where students from over 150 countries of the world study free of charge the Holy Scriptures.
