It feels so good...
Ahh, a CLEAN heart!

“It feels so good to have my heart clean!” wrote a person in Japan.
“I feel like a great burden has been lifted off my shoulders!” wrote one in Texas. They both wanted us to know they found help and hope when they came to chat at BBNchat.org. Do you know that your heart is clean from guilt, shame and sin? Have you found that Jesus cares about the fears and anxieties that trouble you and the burdens that weigh you down?

Washed, sanctified (made holy), and justified (completely forgiven)? Wow! Is this what you need? Is this what someone you care about needs? God made it simple; He didn’t want anyone to miss it because it would be too difficult. He says in the Bible, come to Him, believe who Jesus is (God’s perfect and only Son and Savior), believe that Jesus died just like the Bible says and that He was buried and He rose again, as the Bible says.

Perhaps you are thinking, “I’m not so bad that God would deny me a place in heaven.” The Bible teaches us that God requires of every sinner -perfect righteousness and Jesus as the sacrifice for one’s sins. You too need Him. Maybe you are thinking “I am too bad, you don’t know all the wrong I have done! O, but Jesus knows, and it is He that said: “All that come to me, I will in no wise cast out.” Paul the Apostle recorded in Scripture: “...the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals), nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (abusers), nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

God cared enough about you and every human that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to come to earth to meet sin’s penalty, death. He did this to provide perfect righteousness to satisfy God’s holy perfection and to provide the only way for us to be fully cleansed and accepted in His sight.  It is our sin that separates us from God. We can never change our selves to be good enough. We can never do enough good things to make us acceptable in His sight and there is no religion, priest, or prophet that this world can offer who can declare us guiltless.

God has provided only one way, only one Savior and that is His Son, Jesus. In the Bible we have these invitations from God to sinners: “Come unto me all you that labor and are heaven laden and I will give you rest; If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink; he that comes to Jesus shall never hunger; and he that believes on Jesus shall never thirst (spiritual hunger or thirst).”

You can talk to God about this right now where you are or if you would like to talk with one of our BBN staff concerning this, you can go to BBNchat.org or you can call 800-888-7077. A clean heart, Ahh , it feels so good! The burden of guilt and sin lifted off your shoulders, Ooh that feels good too! Don’t put it off –seek help now.
