Is Purity Possible Today?
A missionary was on the field sharing Christ with the natives of that country and while doing so, some hostile natives set up land mines to destroy the ministry. It so happened that one of his team members was a veteran with military service and had experience with mines. He made his way across the minefield, step by step, until he was able to disarm all the mines. Just so, we walk through a world-system violently opposed to Christ, seeking to destroy our faith. As believers we need to know this so we can draw close to the One who destroyed the enemy’s sinister plan of destruction by dying in our place and rising from the dead, so as to save us from the minefield of sin.
