If you have recently received an e-mail notification from BBNBI warning you of a purge of our records, please read it carefully. It does apply to you!
If you feel you have gotten this notification by mistake, as some students have felt, let me assure you it is no mistake. You would not have received it if you did not have an account with no test activity as stated.
Please understand! You may have registered more than once using the same e-mail address. If so, you may be studying with us under one username and already have taken some tests. But if you have other accounts that are registered but inactive, they will be purged.
Many students registered with BBNBI and then could not access the account for one resason or another. They assumed the account registration didn't work and so they registered again. Now they have multiple accounts and only use one.
If you have registered more than once using the same e-mail, that explains why you got the purge nottification. If you have taken tests, please be assured that only the accounts with no activity will be removed.
If you are only auditing courses, fine. But please follow the instructions given in the notification that you received to properly mark your records as "auditing." This will protect your account from the purge beginning on 11/24/06.
Some members of the department staff (pictured here) are working to assure that records are accurate and only those students who are inactive will be deleted. If you have not given us a valid e-mail address, you will not receive mail from us and this may be the only warning you have about the upcoming purge.
