The 2007 BBN special projects Shareathon reached victory at 8:10 PM, eastern time on Wednesday.  Since so much of the money raised was for a new station in the South American city of Medellin, Colombia, it was fitting to have Juan Lopez, the Director of Spanish Ministries to close in prayer. We all joined him in thanking the Lord for His goodness! 

It was a unique Shareathon with over 700 people calling in gifts of $1000 or larger.  We’ve never seen anything like that before.  And even though we didn’t have many challenges, thousands more people caught the vision to plant BBN radio stations in several new cities, including Medellin in Colombia.  To God be the glory!  We thank Him and all the faithful members of the BBN family that were willing to trust God and make a faith promise.

Also included in this Shareathon was the project to underwrite some of the operational costs of our new Educational arm, the BBN Bible Institute. We are thankful for the thousands of students who are studying God’s Word with us in the BI. We have offered these courses free of charge, trusting God to provide for the operating costs. Now God has touched the hearts of many to take part in this Shareathon to make it all possible.
