The BBN Bible Institute has been in existence for just over a year now in English, with Chinese and Spanish Institutes now underway. We have over 29,000 students enrolled in all of the Institutes with 555 new students having enrolled in all 3 languages in a recent week’s time. It seems that folks are indeed hungry for the Word of God. He promised that all who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled. The Lord is using the BBN Bible Institute we believe, to at least partially fulfill this promise even right now. There is nothing more righteous than the Word of God, and there is no pursuit in this life that is more rewarding and important than the study of God’s Holy Word.

There are more than a few references in God’s Word to His people being referred to as eating the Word of God. One of the most precious is found in the prophecy of Jeremiah when the prophet says to God, Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by Thy Name, O LORD God of hosts. (Jer.15:16) We have the distinct privilege as well as the awesome responsibility of taking God’s Word into our lives through its study and application. However, we are also promised by the Lord that there will come a day when this will not be so. Another prophet of God, the prophet Amos, says: Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Words of the LORD:

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the Word of the LORD, and shall not find it. (Am.8:11f) Even though we are blessed in our day to have the Word of God so easily accessible, the enemy of our souls is certainly sowing his false teaching through false teachers today as he has been since the beginning. While we are able, let’s study and eat the Word of God for ourselves and get it into our lives while there is time. You know the ministry and integrity of BBN.
