The teen years are full of change, and BBN helps young people navigate those often turbulent years with this program. Experience the challenges of the teen years through the eyes of young Victoria McIntire and her family, as together they tackle issues such as peer pressure, friendship and the death of a family member. Through a combination of original dramas and comments from teens and adults, Faith Crossing is designed to help young people survive and thrive during the adolescent journey of faith.
Availability notice - Copies of Faith Crossing are
not available. We're sorry. On the bright side, we still have the option
to hear the program when it airs on BBN! Thanks for enjoying the program.

It Doesn't Bother Me Jay Horn enjoyed his church retreat. Well, he enjoyed some parts of it--those parts that didn't directly involve Walter Slumpy.
"Yep," Slumpy would say, leaning back in his chair.
"I’ve got the latest edition of Street Falcon XL—Cost me a $49.99. I’m already on level 12. Did I mention my new, extremely expensive
show dog? He’s a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Cost me BIG bucks."
"I couldn’t get away from Slumpy the whole
weekend," Jay said.
"Did you hear about my score in archery this
morning?" Slumpy asked, though no one wanted to know. "Yep. I
probably set the camp archery record.
Not that I’m surprised, of course."
Maybe you've struggled with a "problem person," once or twice. Then join us this week and see if Jay survives the boasting and trash talk of Walter Slumpy.

FC145
Tori McIntire won a cruise from Roscoe's Coffee Shop and Alien Encounter Museum but she never expected to find her old friend Jay Horn working on the ship. Not long before, Jay had been spotted in a cult group.
How does someone from a pretty good home end up walking around in robes, living in a commune and being brainwashed by a cult? We consider cults again this week on Faith Crossing.
FAITH CROSSING...Exploring the journey of faith with you Wednesday and Saturday here on BBN. (Or listen ON-DEMAND right here at BBNRadio.org!)

FC65- Remember Skorchy
Skorchy is a legend around Faith Crossing. Let's test your Skorchy Trivia abilities. Was Skorchy...
A) The best baseball player the town of Faith Crossing ever produced B) Never realized his dream of playing professional baseball team C) One of the richest guys in Faith Crossing, he now owns Pizza Universe D) Was NEVER known has Crazy Lennie Schlafhorst E) All of the above
And the answer is....Hmm. Maybe we should just let you find out for yourself, by listening to the two-part REMEMBER SKORCHY story.
Remember Skorchy...and learn a lesson in avoiding the pain of regret. Saturday and again on Wednesday on your radio or on-demand here at BBNRadio.org.
Faith Crossing...exploring the journey of faith with you as you seek the Lord's will (and not just the least scary options in life.)

FC51- I KNOW...STUFF-2
The Great Commission says to "GO" and to "TEACH ALL NATIONS," but that’s not always easy. It can be a difficult thing to step out and risk the rejection that sometimes comes when we take a stand for the Gospel.
Are you ever afraid to tell others about the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ? Then maybe you can relate to Melissa’s struggles this week in part 2 of “I KNOW…STUFF” on Faith Crossing. Explore the journey of faith with us Saturday and then again next Wednesday—or on-demand at BBNRadio.org.

FC17- What Good is the Internet?
What is the best way to describe the internet?
A) Good (Biblical sites such as BBNRadio.org to spread the Good News)
B) Bad (Pornography, wasted hours gossiping about Jenny Pognowski and her annoying laugh)
C) Depends...how are you using it?
Years ago, educators and others may have seen the internet as an exciting way to access and spread wisdom and learning in seconds around the world. But while on-line technology has sped up communications, it's not going to--in itself--change the hearts of people. People still display their hate, attack other people and gravitate to images that are not pure.
We still need God's power bringing change in our hearts and in the lives of our friends.
So...we would say "C." It's another great tool. How we use it...THAT'S the issue.
Join us this Saturday for Faith Crossing as we take a look at the internet--its promise and its present application--as we explore the journey of faith with you. Saturday, Wednesday or on-demand...go to the program schedule page here at BBNRadio.org.

FC175- Praying about the Obvious
When do we need to pray about something? Should we only pray about those really difficult problems that seem as if they're impossible to solve on our own? Or should we pray about decisions that seem easy, too? This week, Ambia Jacobson is faced with a choice that seems obvious. She's surprised when NOT getting her way actually turns out better for her!
Join us Saturday and Wednesday or listen ON-DEMAND at BBNRadio.org. Faith Crossing. Exploring the journey of faith with you.

FC91- THE BOSS IS WATCHING
Over your lifetime you'll spend many, MANY hours on the job. (Don't be discouraged. You can find work that's worth your time and talents.)
The Bible talks about work--and it's not all drudgery and sweat. From Adam naming the animals in the Garden of Eden to the paper route or coffee shop job of today and looking ahead to your jobs of tomorrow--work is a BIG part of life.
So it's important that we approach such a big deal with the right way of thinking. This week on Faith Crossing we look at the fact that the Boss is ALWAYS watching.
Consider the journey of faith with us Saturday, Wednesday or anytime on-demand right here at BBNRadio.org.

FC86- Pass It On
A while ago I was in a drive-through at a local donut shop when I was told I didn't have to pay for what I'd ordered. I could therefore.... a) Be thankful...very, very thankful. b) Hit myself for not ordering MORE! c) Wonder who had been so kind to pay for my order. d) Pay for the guy in line behind me and watch his reaction in the rearview mirror.
Well, in this week's Faith Crossing story, we head back to a local eating establishment and find out much the same thing is happening there. It's based on a true restaurant story. See how the folks react to their unexpected blessings and ask yourself, "What would I do?"

FC83- DOWNERDUDE STRIKES THE YOUTH GROUP
Have you ever known someone who could completely change the atmosphere of a room by his presence? The kids in Faith Crossing may find that a stranger can subtly change their positive outlook to one of doom...despair...and agony on the entire Youth Group.
Are you a thermostat or a thermometer? Join us Saturday and Wednesday--or on-demand here at BBNRadio.org for Faith Crossing...exploring the journey of faith with you.
|
FC126- When Did You Last Thank Him?
Have you heard Uncle Matt's stories that you can recite them by heart? Has Aunt Emmy told you about her bout with the Killer Raccoon so many times that you dread holidays because you know you'll hear about it again?
What happens when the familiar becomes the TOO familiar--even in relation to what the Bible tells us?
Join us this week and get a fresh look at an old, old story. As we approach Thanksgiving...give thanks for a great truth once again.
It's Faith Crossing...exploring the journey of faith with you. Join us Saturday, Wednesday or on-demand, here at BBNRadio.org
