Man-Made Religion
|
 Every man-made religion will either show truth at the expense of love or love at the expense of truth. But, only Jesus Christ is full of grace and truth! He is the God who is love! When a lost person comes to the Lord Jesus Christ in faith, he always finds salvation and the forgiveness of sins. Just recently a lady came to chat in our evangelistic online chat ministry and said that she wanted to receive Christ. The chat operator asked her why she wanted to receive Him and she said because she wanted the blood of Christ to cleanse her of all her sins! She understood the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Truth and love came together at the cross of Christ in the one and only way that it could so as to fully satisfy the absolute righteous demands of our holy God. Man-made religions can never do this. Man-made religion always demands of us that we do something to have salvation and then we are never sure we have done enough. God, on the other hand, tells us plainly that we can never do enough because we are sinners and even our righteous acts before we come to Christ are as filthy rags in His sight! But God through His Son in His offering has taken away all sin and there is no more offering necessary!
