The BBN Bible Institute is providing thousands of individuals the opportunity to study God’s Word at their own pace and without any cost. Just how important is a tool like this one? Well, I believe very important.

It may seem we have a church on every corner and a Bible School in every state in America, however, that is not true everywhere. Recently I read about the great need in China for Christian leaders. It seems that the Chinese churches cannot possibly train Christian leaders fast enough. The minister to believer ratio in China is 1 to 7000.  With that situation comes the certain wandering of many new believers as they are like sheep having no shepherd. China alone needs at least 500,000 Christian leaders and today they have only 12 Seminaries, 6 Bible schools and 5 or 6 training centers. These only produced 5,000 graduates in the past 20 years. At that rate they will never keep up with the training of believers.

Since the average size of the gatherings of believers in China is 30 to 50, the BBNBI is the perfect tool to help train the many that would otherwise never be able to study the Word.

BBNBI has over 5,000 students studying in the Chinese language now and these numbers will only grow as the word spreads about BBNBI. Hopefully we can help train believers and equip some leaders to help meet the great need.
