The main purpose for beginning the BBN Bible Institute was to provide an easy way for people around the world to study the Bible. The staff first met and determined that there was a “thirst” in the land for solid Bible teaching and that such an Institute would provide an excellent tool to help quench that desire.

BBN then chose some great Bible courses taught by some of the greatest teachers who have ever lived and decided to make the material available on the Internet.  This concept would allow the student to study at their convenience and proceed at their own pace. The BBNBI would provide clear Bible teaching, presented in an audio format, with simple tests made up of true and false questions, and a final exam at the end of every course of study. This format would keep the emphasis on having the students listen to the Word, not on academic achievement.  But that was just the beginning of the story.

Since that modest beginning God has multiplied His blessings on the BBN Bible Institute and today we offer 102 courses in English. These courses contain over 900 hours of extensive Bible study. Currently over 26,000 students are studying God’s Word with us and many have made great strides in their achievements. Several have received our Certificates of Completion as they have finished a course and just recently we added our 14^th graduate to our list of those who have satisfactorily completed all the courses.

On January 11, 2008, John Cassidy from Richmond, VA completed all the courses and received his Diploma in Biblical Studies. John enrolled in June of 2006 and has faithfully continued until he has successfully completed all of the institute courses. Congratulations John!
