Please Pray for Me!
|
 Have you ever had anyone, especially another believer, come to you and ask you to pray for them, and then they explain they desire your prayers because they don't feel like God hears theirs? The Bible does teach that if we regard, or cherish sin in our lives and are not willing to confess it to God, then a barrier is erected in our fellowship with Him. Yet, that fellowship is very simply restored when we in the privacy of our hearts go to God and honestly confess that we've sinned. He then faithfully and righteously forgives and cleanses the very guilt away through the precious blood of His Son!
However, just because this is gloriously true doesn't mean that we cannot learn to pray better and more effectively! Anytime the Bible speaks about prayer, and this is quite often, we can learn crucial truths that enable us to make our prayer lives more satisfying to both ourselves and God! Doubtlessly, the Bible teaches that God wants to hear from us and we even more so need to spend time with Him in prayer. So, the need is established that we can learn best how to pray and how to improve our prayer life through the study and application of God's Word on the matter.
