served on the mission field. In his latter years, Allen Fleece served

Henry Morris, born in 1918, was a young earth creationist, apologist, hydraulic engineer, and is considered the father of the creation science movement. In 1963, Dr. Morris founded the Creation Research Society. Seven years later, the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) began. Dr. Morris wrote more than 60 books and passed away in February of 2006 at the age of 87.

John Morris is an American young earth creationist. He is the son of Henry Morris- “the father of creation science.” After his father’s death, he became the president of the Institute for Creation Research. John Morris is a creationist author and speaks at a variety of churches.

Donald Barnhouse pastored the Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia for 33 years. Dr. Barnhouse was the speaker on the Bible Study Hour program as well as editor of Eternity magazine.
He was renowned as a Bible expositor and teacher, and was recognized as
one of America's great preachers and conference speakers. Dr. Barnhouse
passed away in 1960.

Dino Pedrone served as senior pastor of New
Testament Baptist Church in the Miami Metropolitan Area for 14 years. A
veteran of more than 40 years of ministry and a much sought-after
speaker around the world, he is president of the Florida Association of
Christian Colleges and Schools, and the International Association of
Christian Colleges and Schools. Dr. Pedrone became the ninth president
of Davis College in July 2008.

in a lifetime. Earl Radmacher spent 34 years as Administrator, Professor and President
of Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He is
currently President Emeritus.

John Hunter was born in Liverpool in 1909. He
trained as a teacher but often took the time to preach the Gospel in
nearby towns, traveling the 20 or 30 miles on his bicycle. John Hunter
continued his teaching career until 1960, at which time he stepped out
on faith and became a missionary. Dr. Hunter wrote more than 20 books
as well as adult Sunday school lessons. He traveled the world teaching
and preaching in Bible Conferences until early in 1994, at which time
he suffered a stroke. John Hunter went to be with the Lord in October,
2005, at the age of 96.

Ray Stedman was an evangelical Christian pastor
and author. He was a long-time pastor of Peninsula Bible Church in Palo
Alto, California, and author of several books. Ray Stedman passed away
in 1992 at the age of 75.

Warren Wiersbe is
a well known international Bible conference teacher with a heart for
missions and is a former pastor of Moody Church in Chicago. He is the
author of more than 80 books. Dr. Wiersbe is known as a "pastor's

new understanding of the truths of God's Word to people around the
world.

Walter Wilson was an American medical doctor, salesman, businessman, preacher and soul-winner. He recorded many of his remarkable experiences in a series of books to instruct and encourage others in the great work of spreading the gospel.
Dr. Wilson was saved at the age of 15 and the following year, began holding evangelistic street meetings. Although he wasn't ordained, he led many to Christ, winning his audience with wit and homely stories. Walter Wilson passed away in 1969 at the age of 88.

Douglas McLachlan came to know Christ at the age of 16 in
Montrose, Michigan. His call to the ministry came simultaneously with
his salvation experience as he had a burden to be a servant of the
Lord. Dr. McLachlan has taught in the
areas of homiletics and pastoral theology. He continues to serve as
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chancellor, and President Emeritus
of Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

George Gardiner pastored

called him home. He served on various Mission Boards and was a featured
Bible conference speaker for many years. He was known for his extensive
Bible knowledge.

25- Oratorio: Handel's Messiah, was composed in the incredibly short span of 24 days in 1741 . Handel used as his text certain passages selected from the Bible and arranged by a clergyman named Pooley. Tonight, we will hear Part 1 of the Messiah, which contains the prophecy and narrative of the Nativity. We will end tonight's performance with the opening and closing chorus of Part 2; the closing being the familiar "Hallelujah Chorus". The music is performed by the Toronto Symphony and Chorus. Jack Hudson was born in 1922 in Greenville,
South Carolina. He was a race car driver during his younger years. At
the age of 27, Jack Hudson and his wife were led to Christ. He
surrendered to the ministry and graduated with honors from Tennessee
Temple University.
Dr. Hudson established the
Northside Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C. in September, 1954, which
was founded on Jeremiah 33:3. Over the next 36 years, Jack Hudson "made
much of Jesus", in spite of severe pain and constant suffering. The
Lord called him home in October, 1990.

Herbert Arnold is a graduate of the Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary. He was co-founder of the Fredericksburg Bible Institute, where he received an honorary Doctor of Divinity. Dr. Arnold pastored churches in Canada and Virginia, including Denbigh Baptist Church in Newport News, where he served for many years.

Wendell Calder is known for his enthusiastic, evangelistic
style of teaching. He has traveled in more than 35

S.M. (Shadrach Meshach) Lockridge was the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in San Diego, California from 1953 to 1993. He was known for his preaching across the United States and around the world in revivals, crusades and evangelistic conferences. Even after retiring from the pulpit, Dr. Lockridge served as guest lecturer at many schools and universities. He passed away in April, 2000, at the age of 87.

Herbert Lockyer
considered becoming an actor. At 6'3" with a resonant voice and a
commanding presence, he seemed a natural for the theater. But the Lord
had something better in mind. Instead of the stage, God called Herbert
to the pulpit, where as a pastor, Bible teacher, and author of more
than 50 books, he touched the hearts and lives of millions of people. Dr. Lockyer passed away in December of 1984 at the age of 98. He was in his early 90's when the first four messages heard this week were recorded.

Stephen Olford was
born in West Africa of missionary parents. He was educated in England,

the Stephen Olford Center for Biblical Preaching. Stephen Olford passed

Secretary for over 30 years. By his preaching, his personal
conversations and gentle character, pastor Davies became a friend,

country he loved so dearly would be reconciled to the Christ whom he
loved even more. Elwyn Davies passed away in September, 2007, at the
age of 82.

Monroe Parker was an evangelist and an administrator
at Bob Jones University. Besides conducting hundreds of evangelistic
campaigns and preaching in scores of high schools, colleges and Bible
institutes, Dr. Parker taught in Bible colleges and seminaries. He
played an important role in organizing local churches to serve the Lord
together in Minnesota and Alabama. Monroe Parker was also instrumental
in organizing the Christian Dells Bible Camp and Conference Grounds
near Decatur, Alabama. Dr. Parker passed away in 1994 at the age of 85.

1951, he left the pastorate in Scotland to begin a teaching ministry in
America. His last days were spent in Santa Barbara, California. Dr.
Baxter went to be with the Lord late in December of 1999 at the age of
96.

Theodore Epp, a
graduate of Southwestern Theological Seminary, began his ministry as a
pastor in Oklahoma, where he received his first taste of radio
preaching. Mr. Epp moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to establish the Back to
the Bible Broadcast. That was May 1, 1939. Dr. Epp served as General
Director for the broadcast until 1984. He continued to serve the
ministry as well as perform other speaking engagements until his death
in 1985. Theodore Epp was known for his quiet, but thorough teaching of
the Word.

Charles Ryrie (born 1925) is a Christian writer and theologian. He graduated from Haverford College (B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M., Th.D.) and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (Ph.D.). For many years Charles Ryrie served as professor of systematic theology and dean of doctoral studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and as president and professor at Philadelphia College of Bible, now Philadelphia Biblical University. John DeBrine served 11 years as the pastor to the
church that founded New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. He is also
heard on a daily radio broadcast that started in 1964. Dr. DeBrine's
speaking schedule takes him to churches and conferences all across the
country. Whether on the air or at a speaking engagement, he frequently
calls on his many experiences and his unique sense of humor in his
sound teaching of Biblical truth.

Monroe Parker was an evangelist and an administrator at Bob Jones University. Besides conducting hundreds of evangelistic campaigns and preaching in scores of high schools, colleges and Bible institutes, Dr. Parker taught in Bible colleges and seminaries. He played an important role in organizing local churches to serve the Lord together in Minnesota and Alabama. Monroe Parker was also instrumental in organizing the Christian Dells Bible Camp and Conference Grounds near Decatur, Alabama. Dr. Parker passed away in 1994 at the age of 85.

Dwight Pentecost is
Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Bible Exposition at Dallas
Theological Seminary. Dr. Pentecost pastored for 10 years before
joining the Seminary faculty in 1955, and held a pastorate for 18 years
during his faculty tenure. Today, he remains in great demand as a
conference speaker and Bible teacher.

Theodore Epp, a
graduate of Southwestern Theological Seminary, began his ministry as a
pastor in Oklahoma, where he received his first taste of radio
preaching. Mr. Epp moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to establish the Back to
the Bible Broadcast. That was May 1, 1939. Dr. Epp served as General
Director for the broadcast until 1984. He continued to serve the
ministry as well as perform other speaking engagements until his death
in 1985. Theodore Epp was known for his quiet, but thorough teaching of
the Word.
