shared the Word in more than 90 countries around the world. He has also
written more than a dozen books on family life and Christian
discipleship. Dr. Hendricks is Distinguished Professor and Chairman of
the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary,
where he has touched the lives of thousands of students for nearly 60
years.

John Walvoord was the Professor of Systematic Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary for over 50 years. He also served as the President of the seminary for 33 years. In 1986, Dr. Walvoord became Chancellor until 2001, when he retired. John Walvoord wrote and published more than 30 books. He was recognized worldwide as a leader in conservative Biblical scholarship. Dr. Walvoord passed away in December of 2002, at the age of 92.

Robert Greene (R.G.) Lee began
his career on a farm in South Carolina where he was born of poor, but
deeply religious parents. Early in life he felt the call to be a
preacher; in spite of many obstacles, he heeded that call. Dr. Lee was
ordained at his boyhood church in Fort Mill, South Carolina in 1910. He
was pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee from
December, 1927, until April, 1960. R.G. Lee passed away in July of 1978 at his home in Memphis.

William Culbertson was
President of Moody Bible Institute for 23 years, and was appointed as
the school's first chancellor in 1971, shortly before his death that
same year. Dr. Culbertson also spoke at Bible conferences around the
world. Above all, he lived in God's Word and therefore always had a
word from God.
1- Throne of God the Son 2- The Great White Throne Vance Havner was
a revivalist who had a quick wit. He was a popular speaker and his
extensive Bible knowledge made him an effective preacher. Dr. Havner
was a native of Catawba County, North Carolina. He preached his first
sermon at the age of 12, and was ordained at the age of 15. Vance
Havner pastored in North and South Carolina and became a full-time
evangelist in the 1930's. He went home to be with the Lord in 1986 and
the age of 84.

biographies:
Harold Wildish was
born in England in 1903 and was converted to Christ at the age of 12.
Six years later, he preached his first message to a group of late night
English drinkers. In 1925, Mr .Wildish sailed to the Amazon with 35
dollars and a heart full of faith. Years later, malaria forced him to
leave the Amazon and head to the West Indies. Harold Wildish spent the
rest of his life in Jamaica as a missionary for the Plymouth Brethren.
He passed away in 1982. Dave Breese was saved as a teenager in Chicago. Dave founded the ministry of Christian Destiny in 1963 and was influencial in the establishment of the AWANA Youth Association. He was heard on several radio broadcasts during his career. Dave Breese was a popular speaker at churches, Bible conferences, universities and evangelistic meetings. The Lord called him home to Heaven on May 3, 2002 at the age of 75. Richard Clearwaters founded Central Baptist Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. and served as its President for many years. He also was Pastor of Fourth Baptist Church in Minneapolis.
Ted Cole pastored the First Baptist Church in Pomona, California, and was a favorite speaker at Forest Home Bible Conference in California. His messages on the family have blessed many homes.

Henry Brandt earned a doctorate from Cornell University in marriage and family relations and has the ability to provide insight into the subject of the family from a biblical perspective. For more than five decades Dr. Henry Brandt has served the Lord as a pioneer in biblical counseling. He has been a trusted adviser to Christian ministries, a popular conference speaker, and a widely read author.
David Allen was a well-known Bible Conference speaker, especially in the Mid-western U.S. He also served as pastor of Hazel Park Baptist Church in the Detroit, Michigan metro area for many years. Dr. Allen went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2003 at the age of 93.
Donald Barnhouse pastored the Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia for 33 years. Dr. Barnhouse was the speaker on the Bible Study Hour program as well as editor of Eternity magazine. He was renowned as a Bible expositor and teacher, and was recognized as one of America's great preachers and conference speakers. Dr. Barnhouse passed away in 1960.
J. Sidlow Baxter is known worldwide through his prolific writing ministry. He wrote over 30 books that have sold by the hundreds of thousands. In 1951, Dr. Baxter left the pastorate in Scotland to begin a teaching ministry in America. His last days were spent in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Baxter went to be with the Lord late in December of 1999 at the age of 96.
Jay Adams has been calling God’s people back to a renewed confidence in the power of the Holy Spirit and the sufficiency of God’s Word to equip the man of God to help his people with problems of living and relationship. Over the years a movement has developed, consisting of pastors and other Christian workers who have been trained in and are practicing the kind of truly biblical counseling God intended for His people to receive. In 1999 Dr. Adams retired from the pastorate of the church he had planted in South Carolina and has devoted his time to writing and lecturing. |

Dr. Hendricks as written many books about marriage and family life, and spends considerable time conducting marriage enrichment seminars. For over 50 years, he has touched the lives of thousands of students at Dallas Seminary. Dr. Hendricks handles a rigorous speaking schedule, ministering personally in over 80 countries. His impact is furthered through books, radio, tapes and films.
George Gardiner pastored churches in Dayton, Ohio and Grand Rapids, Michigan, before the Lord called him home. He served on various Mission Boards and was a featured Bible conference speaker for many years. He was known for his extensive Bible knowledge.
Allen Fleece was a professor at Moody Bible Institute and Columbia Bible College for many years. He also pastored the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee and served on the mission field. In his latter years, Allen Fleece served as President of Columbia Bible College from 1953 to 1966.
Stuart Briscoe was born in Cumbria, England in 1930 and began preaching at the age of 17. In 1970, he became the pastor of the Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He served as Senior Pastor there for 30 years. Dr. Briscoe has preached in more than 100 countries and has written over 40 books. He has an extensive Bible conference ministry all over the world. |

Ian Thomas was the Founder and International Director of Torchbearers of the Capernwray Missionary Fellowship. With the intention of becoming a missionary in Africa, he studied medicine at London University for 2 years. At age 19, God called Ian Thomas into an evangelistic and Bible teaching ministry which has spread around the world, in the utilization of Bible schools and conference centers. Ian Thomas passed away August 1 of 2007.
Frank Logsdon was a respected evangelical pastor and popular Bible conference speaker. He pastored Moody Memorial Church in Chicago in the 1950's. Prior to that, he pastored in London, Ontario, where he taught at the London Bible Institute. Frank Logsdon passed away in Largo, Florida in 1987.
A.W. Tozer was saved at the age of 17. Throughout his life and ministry, Dr. Tozer called believers to return to a biblical position of deep faith and holiness. Dr. Tozer pastored several churches and authored more than 40 books- a tremendous accomplishment for a man who never received a formal theological education. Although A.W. Tozer died in 1963, his life and spiritual legacy continue to draw many into a deeper knowledge of God.

Bob Kraning is a pastor of men's ministries in Fullerton California. He served for 26 years as Executive Director of the Forest Home Christian Conference Center in Southern California, and is highly respected for his Bible teaching on the family and personal attitudes.
Alan Redpath was born in the United Kingdom in 1907. He trained as an accountant, but soon felt the call to preach, and became an evangelist. Dr. Redpath is best known as the former Pastor of the Moody Church in Chicago, serving from 1953 to 1962. In 1966, Alan Redpath began an itinerant conference and missionary ministry, in which he labored for the Lord for many years. Dr. Redpath passed away in 1989 in Birmingham, England.

Renald Showers is an author and Bible teacher for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc. He is the author of numerous books, including What on Earth is God Doing?, There Really Is a Difference, and Maranatha: Our Lord Come. Dr. Showers has served in the pastorate, and as a member of the faculties of Lancaster Bible College, Moody Bible Institute and Philadelphia College of the Bible. He is also a visiting lecturer at Word of Life Bible Institute. Dr. Showers is a graduate of Wheaton College, Dallas Theological Seminary and Grace Theological Seminary.
