The teen years are full of change, and BBN helps young people navigate those often turbulent years with this program. Experience the challenges of the teen years through the eyes of young Victoria McIntire and her family, as together they tackle issues such as peer pressure, friendship and the death of a family member. Through a combination of original dramas and comments from teens and adults, Faith Crossing is designed to help young people survive and thrive during the adolescent journey of faith.

Have you ever walked past a group of people and you couldn't shake the idea that maybe they were talking--and laughing--about you? If so, join us this week for Faith Crossing. Jackson's latest self-improvement project is a board game called "Imagine That." Join us for a Bohemian Shwomblefoot, a few Wyswoopian Bopperdorfs, and the Lake of Imagining Saturday and Wednesday.
Consider gossip-loving classmates and turning the other cheek as we explore the journey of faith this week on Faith Crossing.

FC7- NOTHING PROFOUND YET
This happens...then THAT happens...the THIS, THAT, & THE OTHER happens. It seems as though problems are piled on problems until well--
"You can barely see over the pile!" suggested Tori McIntire.
Well, I suppose that's a good way to put it. If you find yourself in one of THOSE times, you may be asking, "OK, God. What are you trying to teach me through this?"
A look at the tough times of life-- when you may not have much in the way of answers-- this week on Faith Crossing. Exploring the journey of faith with you Saturday and Wednesday on the radio or here at BBNRadio.org.

FC28 & 29 THE ENDLESS TRIP
Have you taken a vacation this summer? What was it like? Maybe you can relate to Tori McIntire's problem as she and her family are on the road for their vacation. Did something happen to make your trip LESS than wonderful? (Car breaking down, brother snoring, you know....)
"Hey, don't give up. Find a way to make lemons out of lemonade," sugggested Norbert Wallcuff.
At this point Internet Update Guy is wondering with you, "Who's Norbert Wallcuff?"
Hmm...Anyway, I think Norb meant lemonade out of lemons--"making something good out of something bad." And indeed that happens on this trip described by Tori in her usual way, "It's official. My life is over. This trip will NEVER end."
Well, join us this week to find out how even the pitfalls of life don't have to be the end of the story. Saturday and Wednesday on Faith Crossing....exploring the journey of faith with you.

FC75-81 GRANDMA GETS HURT
Grandma Louise has long been a source of comfort and reliability in the McIntire family. When Alan lost his wife Susan and then his job where did he go for help? He moved back to his hometown of Faith Crossing.
And a big part of WHY he moved was that he needed the help and stability of his mother and her solid faith in God. But even pillars of the community can be shaken. This week hear more about Tori's grandmother and how God is faithful even in the struggles of life.
Faith Crossing...exploring the adolescent journey of faith with us. Listen Saturday and Wednesday right here on BBNRadio.org.

FC160-Ambia is on a Mission
Brand new, hot off the presses, it's FAITH CROSSING! Sure, FC is not new, but this week's episode is new and ready for you--especially if you think that MINISTRY has to be in BIG letters because it's soooooooooooooooo serious and sooooooooooooooo BIG that only "special" people doing "special" things can be involved in it.
(That was a pretty long sentence with all those oooooooooooooooooooo's.)
Anyway, join us as we explore the journey of faith that sometimes takes you to dangerous and exotic places...and sometimes, well, DOESN'T. Saturday and Wednesday here on BBN. (And on-demand here at BBNRadio.org)

FC150 And we say Goodbye...to Cruisin' and more Tori and Sheila have worked through their conflict over Guava Guy and now it's time for them--along with Melissa and Alan--to get back on dry land. They'll miss the Midnight Chocolate Buffet and the All-You-Can-Eat Prime Rib Night. But Tori's shocked to find out who helped her get on the boat in the first place. (Remember that mysterious late-night visitor who delivered a map to help her find a shortcut to the letterbox?) Well, in the closing minutes of her floating excursion, Tori finds out WHO it was. And it's one of the LAST people she'd ever suspect of doing such a thing. Now, it's time to say both "Thanks" and "Goodbye" to one of Faith Crossing's most infamous residents as we conclude our Cruisin' series this week. Join us Saturday and Wednesday on BBN...exploring life at the crossroads on Faith Crossing.

FC149- Love is in the Air...or is it? Tori has some big decisions to make. She really likes Philippe the French-speaking, guava juice-dispensing crew member on Tori's cruise, but should she break the rules to be with him? Will she choose to obey her Dad or her feelings for a smoooooooth talking Guava Guy? Join us Saturday and Wednesday as we consider obedience, wisdom and a mysterious call in the night. Faith Crossing...exploring the journey of faith with you. |
FC148- Is Tori Cruisin' Toward Trouble? Tori continues to enjoy the warm Caribbean sun as she cruises the high seas with three of her family members. Unfortunately, family tension is developing after Tori "accidentally" lost Sheila's love notes intended for Philippe, a mysterious french crew member dispensing guava juice and ultra-smooth compliments. Tori's going to hear some not-so-friendly advice from Philippe's old girlfriend, but we're thinking it won't much matter. (Have you seen that goofy, wide-eyed look on Tori's face every time Philippe is around?) Will Tori see the warning signs or slip out at midnight for a clandestine rendezvous on Deck Seven? It's a case of morality, fantasy and large quantities of guava juice this week on Faith Crossing...Saturday and Wednesday right here on BBN. |
New Guy
If you've ever been in that sometimes awkward situation of being the NEW GUY, then maybe you can relate to this week's Faith Crossing. Or...maybe you've been on the other end of that just as often. YOU were in the established group, but some intruder dared to come in and disrupt your contented little gathering.
Just us Saturday and Wednesday for Faith Crossing and explore the journey of faith for the New Guy in youth group.
Then, go to BBNBI.org and check out the free TEEN BIBLE COURSES on-line--a new opportunity to study God's Word. www.BBNBI.org. Let us know what you think!

FC144- Still Cruisin...but I Never Thought I'd See U Here Tori, Melissa and Sheila are enjoying the cruise that Tori won in the contest, but they are in for a big surprise this week. Someone they never expected to see on this boat shows up...and well, you just have to wait to find out WHO when you lis-- "HEY! Stop that, now," interrupted Tori. "You're not being very nice. WHO is on the boat?" You'll just have to wait and find out with the rest of them, Tori. Anyway, Tori and Sheila are still fighting over Guava Juice Guy (and just between you and me...it's getting a little ugly.) "I heard that." (Join us Saturday and Wednesday for Faith Crossing. As we think about relationships from a heavenly perspective.) |
