Bob Cook spent 18 years as a full-time pastor. In 1948 Dr. Cook left the pastorate to become the second President of Youth for Christ International. He also was Vice President of Scripture Press in Wheaton, Illinois. In 1962 Dr. Cook accepted the Presidency of The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, New York. During his twenty-three years as president, he started "The King's Hour" radio broadcast. Dr. Cook retired from the Presidency in 1985, and was Chancellor of the college until his death in 1991.

Harold Wildish was born in England in 1903 and was converted to Christ at the age of 12. Six years later, he preached his first message to a group of late night English drinkers. In 1925, Mr Wildish sailed to the Amazon with 35 dollars and a heart full of faith. Years later, malaria forced him to leave the Amazon and head to the West Indies. Harold Wildish spent the rest of his life in Jamaica as a missionary for the Plymouth Brethren. He passed away in 1982.

James Stewart was born in Scotland. Immediately after receiving Christ at age 14, he began to preach the Gospel and became known as "The Boy Preacher". Dr. Stewart was used in a mighty revival throughout Eastern Europe just prior to World War II. He founded Revival Literature which publishes his extensive writings on the subject of true revival and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

W.A. Criswell was born in Eldorado, Oklahoma in 1909. He professed faith in Christ at the age of 10 and held student pastorates during his college studies at Baylor University. George Sweeting has served at the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago for over 30 years, first as President and then as Chancellor. John Hunter was born in Liverpool in 1909. He trained as a teacher but often took the time to preach the Gospel in nearby towns, traveling the 20 or 30 miles on his bicycle. John Hunter continued his teaching career until 1960, at which time he stepped out on faith and became a missionary. Dr. Hunter wrote more than 20 books as well as adult Sunday school lessons. He traveled the world teaching and preaching in Bible Conferences until early in 1994, at which time he suffered a stroke. John Hunter went to be with the Lord in 2005 at the age of 96.

Theodore Epp began his ministry as a pastor in Oklahoma, where he received his first taste of radio preaching. Mr. Epp moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to establish the Back to the Bible Broadcast. That was May 1, 1939. Dr. Epp served as General Director for the broadcast until 1984. He continued to serve the ministry as well as perform other speaking engagements until his death the next year. Theodore Epp was known for his quiet, but thorough teaching of the Word.

Carl Armerding was born in 1883 in New Jersey. As a young man, he served as a missionary in Honduras and the British West Indies. John Whitcomb is credited with being one of the "Fathers of the Modern Creationist Movement." He has been a respected theologian and Bible scholar for more than 60 years.
Dr. Whitcomb taught at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, for nearly 40 years. Currently, he not only serves as president of Whitcomb Ministries but he is also the founder and professor for the Christian Workman Schools of Theology.

Ray Stedman was a long-time pastor of Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, California, and author of several books. He was one of the twentieth century's foremost pastors and biblical expositors. Jack Hudson was born in 1922 in Greenville, South Carolina. He was a race car driver during his younger years. At the age of 27, Jack Hudson and his wife were led to Christ and he surrendered to the ministry. Dr. Hudson established the Northside Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C. in 1954, which was founded on Jeremiah 33:3. Over the next 36 years, Jack Hudson "made much of Jesus", in spite of severe pain and constant suffering. The Lord called him home in 1990.

25...Handel's Messiah is one of the greatest works of it's kind ever written by man. It was composed in the incredibly short span of 24 days in 1741. Handel used as his text certain passages selected from the Bible. Incidentally, the correct title of the oratorio is simply "Messiah".

BBN will feature Part 1 of the Messiah, which contains the prophecy and narrative of the Nativity. The performance will end with the opening and closing chorus of Part 2; the closing being the familiar "Hallelujah Chorus". Music is provided by the Toronto Symphony and Chorus. Curtis Hutson was an Independent Baptist pastor, dynamic evangelist and editor of the Sword of the Lord, an independent Christian publication, for 15 years. Dr. Hutson's messages are from his years of ministry at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta. He passed away in 1995 at the age of 60.

In 1963, he began to devote full time to an itinerant Bible conference and evangelistic ministry world-wide. Jerry Vines was a pastor for over fifty years. He served twice as President of the Southern Baptist Convention.
