Life Goes On
Recently, we have heard a lot about the end of the world and coming judgment from God. Some of what we have been hearing is true but much is very convoluted and outright false. There is much confusion on every hand and this is causing many to fear and become confused themselves. We know that there will come a time when the Lord will return for His church and the Bible has quite a bit to say about all this. Yet we realize that though the Lord could return for His church at any moment, it also is true that we may very well live another day, or many days and even years before this happens, or we may leave this world in death before He returns. The Bible also has much to say concerning practical, day-by-day living and down-to-earth truth for our lives right here and now. What does God expect of us and require of us today? The BBN Bible Institute has some very practical free courses concerning life in this world and how to live it in ways that please God and help others. One of these helpful courses is number 51000, Romans from a Practical Aspect. Dr. Ralph Keiper does a wonderful job teaching this delightful course that helps us to see God's will for us on a day-by-day, even moment-by-moment basis from His Word. Another very helpful course is one that deals with some problems that all of us face at one time or another in our lives, and is titled Some Problems We Face. This course is taught by veteran Bible teacher and a man who has walked with the Lord many years, Dr. Dwight Pentecost and is course number 50200. In addition to these is course number 21200, Putting Your Past Behind You, which deals with some very difficult and damaging problems and sins that cause much suffering in our lives. Dr. Erwin Lutzer teaches this course and it has helped many students as they learn Bible truths for such problems as addictions and ongoing sins.
We know today we're one day closer to Christ's return than we have ever been, and we can find practical help in these free resources to encourage us to not be ashamed whenever our Savior returns.
