No Room For Error
The Lord Jesus tells of a future time when people will stand before Him in Judgment, thinking they will enter His Kingdom, yet, they will hear the sad and sobering message, I never knew you, depart from Me… Why will they hear these words from the lips of the Savior? In Matthew 7:21-23 we see the scene and the story. These people are standing before the One who is truth and have no reason to lie to Him, and neither does He accuse them of lying when they tell of the many wonderful works they hoped would have earned their salvation. In the book of John, others asked Jesus point blank, what are the works of God we must do (to receive eternal life). He answered them, This is the work of God, that ye believe in Him Whom He (God) sent. (John 6:27-29,35-40).
