Benjamin Franklin once attended a meeting in Paris, France with the Literary Society. Each attendee was asked to bring an excerpt of literature that they esteemed as exceptional and read their selection before the society fellows. Each read their selection and then Franklin read his. He did not tell them that his reading was from the Bible. He read to them the Book of Ruth. The entire group was moved with noticeable appreciation of his story choice.&
