We thought our future was set, but then tragedy struck!

We look back now and see where we got our eyes on what was going on around us. Lee Petty, Richard's daddy, had been in racing and then Richard. After that our son Kyle came along and went into racing and then our grandson, Adam too. And we looked at Adam as the future. He would carry Petty Enterprises on into the racing future. But when he died in that accident, we realized that Adam was not the key to our future, but that God is.
