Send the Light
Send the Light!

Charles Gabriel, pictured with song, a plea for those who need to hear the Gospel, that someone would send them the Light. He wrote, There are souls to rescue, there are souls to save, Send the light! Send the light! Send the Light, the blessed Gospel Light; let it shine from shore to shore. Let it shine forever more.

He understood that we live in a world that is ever darkening with the encroachment of sin. We must reach them while we have opportunity. This is the work of Bible Broadcasting Network.

It is people like you and me that God uses to make this work continue. For the Gospel light to shine, there must be willing workers, equipment in place and facilities operating at peak performance. Also, there must be those who will pay the light bill! Gabriel understood this too. He wrote: And a golden offering at the cross we lay, Send the light! Send the light!

Without apology we come to our Bible Institute students at this time of year and ask that you help us keep the light on in this this dark world, by making a special offering to BBN. April 3-5 is our annual Spring Shareathon. This is how we raise our funds for new projects and the repairing, replacing and installing of new equipment to keep reaching the millions that need to hear the Gospel. Will you help us? What will you give as a sacrifice to your Savior? Will you join us in prayer and giving in these urgent days that we may reach our goal of $910,000?

Charles Gabriel concluded his hymn:
Let us not grow weary in the work of love, Send the light! Send the light!
Let us gather jewels for a crown above,Send the light! Send the light!

Thanks for your part in Sending the Light!
