Description
Nebuchadnezzar was a polytheist before Daniel revealed his dream, and then he was impressed with God. Though Daniel was greatly honored, he did not forget his 3 friends which is a good insight into his character. Conquered foreigners (Daniel and his friends) were put in authority over the native elite intellects of the land of Babylon. They became irritated and they sought to avenge themselves on them. An opportunity to do this came in chapter 3 of Daniel.
