May 18, 1998 - BBN began airing in Jacksonville, IL via a translator at 88.1 FM.
May 19, 1998 - The Pontiac, IL translator went on the air at 89.5 FM.
May 23, 2001 - Radio Metropolis, 910 AM went on the air in San Jose, Costa Rica. This station covers all of the Central Valley of Costa Rica, reaching approximately 2,000,000 people who live there.
May 26, 1999 - BBN went on the air via translator in Fredericksburg, VA at 97.7 FM.
May 28, 1968 - Unmarried, Bob Jones University educated Lowell Davey wrote a letter to make his first offer on a radio station. He stated in the letter his interest in building a good, Christian radio station. The station never became a reality but it was the beginning of a burden and vision from God that would lead to the beginning of BBN just three years later.
May 28, 1999 - BBN went on the air in Schroon Lake, NY at 90.7 FM via translator.
May 30, 1998 - Choele Choel, Argentina received BBN Spanish programming at 106.3 FM. The 50,000 people in the coverage area know the station as FM De La Libertad.
