February 1, 1980 - WYFJ signed on in Ashland, Virginia at 100.1 FM.

February 7, 1998 - BBN Spanish began on Radio Armonia in Huancayo, Peru at 99.5 FM.  About 500,000 people are under the sound of this station.

February 7, 2000 - Over 2,500,000 people in La Paz, Bolivia first heard BBN Spanish on Radio Infinita at 102.1 FM. La Paz is the Administrative capital, and Bolivia's largest city!

February 7, 2000 - BBN began airing in Bradenton, FL via translator at 96.5 FM.

February 8, 2000 - Bolivia's second largest city, Santa Cruz gave us an additional potential audience of 1,800,000 people. They began receiving BBN Spanish at 90.7 FM on RRB-Santa Cruz.

February 9, 1996 - The Anniston, AL translator went on the air at 101.7 FM.

February 9, 2001 - "On-demand" programs were first made available on the BBN web site.  The first programs were Conference Pulpit, Take a Minute and Perspective.  Other programs were made available on demand within the next few weeks, including programs in Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese.

February 10, 1998 - FM Vida went on the air at 100.9 FM, bringing BBN Spanish programming to about 150,000 people in Rafaela, Argentina.

February 10, 1998 - BBN went on the air in Statesville, NC at 91.7 FM via translator.

February 10, 2000 - Sarasota, FL began receiving BBN on translator at 97.3 FM.

February 11, 1998 - BBN Spanish began on FM Vida in Margarita, Argentina at 103.3 FM.  There are 7000 potential listeners in the area.

February 11, 1998 - Did you know that BBN-Spanish can be heard on one of our American stations?  On this day KYFO-AM began airing in Ogden, Utah at 1490 AM with a potential listening audience of 50,000 people.

February 11, 2002 - BBN English began using "distributed networking" technology to allow web listeners to help us stream to other listeners.  The new software reduces streaming costs dramatically while removing limitations on the number of simultaneous listeners.

February 12, 1996 - BBN filled out coverage in and to the east of Charlotte, NC with WYFQ-FM.  The FM frequency is 93.5 FM.

February 12, 1997 - Cordoba, Argentina began sharing BBN Spanish programming on FM General Paz with over 100,000 people in the surrounding area at 88.7 FM.

February 12, 1998 - San Cristobal, Argentina received BBN Spanish programming at 100.7 FM.  The 25,000 people in the coverage area know the station as FM Vida.

February 19, 1997 - Waynesboro, VA began receiving BBN on translator at 101.5 FM.

February 20, 1996 - The Ocala, FL translator went on the air at 99.3 FM.

February 21, 1998 - On this day Leesburg, FL began receiving BBN by translator at 99.3 FM.

February 24, 1996 - BBN went on the air via translator in Southern Pines, NC at 105.9 FM.

February 24, 1998 - BBN began airing in Palm Coast, FL via translator at 97.3 FM.

February 26, 1997 - Princeton, WV began receiving BBN on translator at 96.7 FM.

February 27, 1997 - BBN began airing in Scottsbluff, NE via a translator at 89.5 FM.

February 28, 1997 - The Albany, GA translator went on the air at 102.5 FM.
