September 1, 1989 - BBN's first affiliate, WYFE, 88.9 FM signed on in Tampa, Florida.
September 1, 1996 - BBN began broadcasting in a language other than English for the very first time. Red de Radiodufusion Biblica (we call it RRB) signed on in Spanish over WYFQ-AM, Charlotte at 8 PM. The Spanish ministry has since grown to 100 stations in 11 countries to cover an even greater population than BBN reaches in English. Today millions of Spanish speaking people are able to study and learn God's word via the RRB stations 24 hours a day.
September 2, 1999 - 500,000 people in Neuquen, Argentina were first able to hear Voz de Esperanza at 93.1 FM.
September 3, 1997 - BBN went on the air via translator in Vincennes, IN at 88.1 FM.
September 5, 1997 - Carlinville, IL began receiving BBN on translator at 89.1 FM.
September 9, 1997 - Tarapoto, Peru is now able to hear Radio Amistad at 94.3 FM with 259,000 people in the listening area.
September 11, 1997 - BBN Spanish programming can now be heard through FM Potencia at 105.9 FM in Dean Funes, Argentina. This adds 100,000 potential listeners.
September 15, 1997 - BBN began airing in Bedford, IN via a translator at 88.9 FM.
September 16, 1997 - The Jasper, IN translator went on the air at 89.7 FM.
September 17, 1997 - 80,000 people were able to hear FM Libertad at 90.3 FM in Esperanza, Argentina.
September 17, 1998 - Voz Del Buen Pastor at 102.9 FM is a missionary station in a remote region of Honduras called La Esperanza.
September 18, 1997 - BBN went on the air in Taylorville, IL at 88.9 FM via translator.
September 18, 1997 - Washington, IN began receiving BBN on translator at 90.1 FM.
September 18, 1998 - Formosa, Argentina is home to FM Luz at 88.1 FM serving 200,000 people.
September 18, 1998 - In Sopachuy, Bolivia, Radio El Faro at 1120 AM was built and operated by a young missionary couple.
September 19, 1998 - FM Logos went on the air at 104.9 FM, bringing BBN Spanish programming to about 50,000 people in Roque Seans Peña, Argentina.
September 22, 1998 - FM Aguas de Vida took to the air in Resistencia, Argentina, 24 hours a day at 105.7 FM. The station reaches about 1,500,000 people.
September 23, 1985 - The first BBN station in Augusta, Georgia signed on. WYFA was first heard at 107.1 FM.
September 23, 1998 - Guayaquil, Ecuador signed on with Spanish language programming at RRB Guayaquil 106.1 FM. This is Ecuador's largest city with 3,500,000 people.
September 27, 2004 - The BBN Russian web site was made public at 10:05 AM eastern time during the English Fall Shareathon.
September 29, 2000 - BBN Spanish put their 100th station on the air in La Florida, Chile at 105.3 FM. Sign on time was 12:30 in the afternoon.
September 1996 - BBN unveiled it's first web site. It was created by Jim Boyte and updated by a group of home school students he was teaching. The original address was www.amen.net/bbn.
